Client: Michael S.

Charge: First Degree Murder

Facts: Client was a 16-year-old boy accused of a home invasion murder while wearing a mask. We proved that the witness identification of our client was faulty and that the jailhouse snitch was lying. We were able to find the true murderer by continuing to investigate the case.

Result: After the first trial, the jury came back 11 to 1 in favor of Not Guilty. A second trial was scheduled. In the meantime, we kept chipping away at the case until finally, the state dropped all charges just before the start of the next trial. It is extremely rare that the state ever completely drops a capital murder case.


Client: Franklin F.

Charge: Attempted 1st Degree Murder with a Gun

Facts: After a fight with Head, our client went home to get his .357 and came back to shoot Head. He shot at Head, who was standing in front of a building, from close range while in front of a crowd of people, all of whom were witnesses in the case. We checked the building and could find no bullet holes in the wall… which we used to show our client shot into the air.

Result: The jury agreed. Their verdict went from Attempted 1st Degree Murder down to a misdemeanor for Shooting a Gun in Public.

Charge: Sale of Heroin in Park

Facts: Client accused of selling heroin to an undercover officer on video next to a public park. Being close to a park makes the penalty much harsher.

Result: We were able to prove that this incident was not close to a park, and the judge reduced the charge during the trial.


Client: Evan G.

Charge: Rape

Facts: Bishop G. was accused of raping a woman from his congregation. He was a very well-respected Bishop with a spotless record. Through our intense investigation, we were able to show that the woman was using this story to blackmail the Bishop.

Result: Based on the last bit of evidence we uncovered during the jury trial, the state dropped all charges.

Charge: Rape & False Imprisonment

Facts: High school Principal accused of raping his secretary in his office.

Result: All charges dismissed just before the jury trial. Charges were expunged.
